We have enhanced the character of the building to attract exciting companies and create a vibrant atmosphere. The mix of artistic studios, nightclub, café and innovative tenant base will identify Piano House as a prime location within the industry. Brixton itself further enhances its identity as an area with a creative community and history. There is also potential for creating residential units on top of the building, which will add to the vibrancy and character of the building.
TCN repositioned the building by giving it a new identity and creating the appropriate work space and atmosphere.
The Control phase is now complete in terms of refurbishment, branding and letting, including the introduction of new uses such as cafe.
Planning is now being sought for a 15,000 sq ft (1,394 m2) extension to include 8 residential units and a further floor of studio use.
