Brandboxx Almere provides a national forum for professionals in the Dutch fashion industry. The center accommodates about 75 manufacturers, with approximately 200 brands, in the mid- and high-fashion segments. The categories include Young Fashion, Modern Women and Jeans, divided into ladies wear, men's wear and children's clothing. The center also houses different suppliers of accessories. It is only accessible to retailers and usually on an appointment-only basis. The fashion industry has several seasons a year, resulting in regular visits by the target group.

Clustering trading activities has clear advantages over individual showrooms and business facilities for each manufacturer. Concentrating them in a single location allows retailers to view the total array of available products in an efficient, professional and pleasant manner. Manufacturers benefit from various economies of scale. Not only are the costs of services such as reception, cleaning, technical support and security shared, but there is also a combined budget for marketing, events and advertising.
